‘NCIS’ season 13 spoilers: Jon Cryer set to return again as Dr. Taft

CryerLet’s hope that you have not tired in the slightest of seeing Jon Cryer on “NCIS“; thanks to the information we now have, we are pleased to confirm that he will be making another appearance on the show this season!

Let’s start by reporting what we know. According to Entertainment Weekly, Dr. Taft is going to be featured in an episode this February that seems, at least on the surface, to not be anything like some of his other past appearances on the series. You are going to get a chance to see him taking part in a story involving weapons and other items being stolen from a Naval base. Maybe he will be a resource; the last thing we imagine him as right now is a criminal given the history that he now has in saving Gibbs’ life.

It is pretty darn easy to figure out why the CBS procedural wants Cryer back so soon: He’s enormous popular thanks to his time on “Two and a Half Men,” and based on every bit of information we’ve seen is also someone who enjoys being a part of this world and already has friendships with the cast after being a part of the same network for so long.

As for whether or not we could see Jon beyond this, who knows? We are admittedly surprised that we’ve gotten so many appearances from him in the first place, given that we always assumed that this would be the sort of thing where he turned up once or twice and that was it.
