For those of you who are A) in the United Kingdom and B) able to be up extremely late at night / early in the morning, the following story is for you: AMC wants to give you as many different options as possible in order to watch “Fear the Walking Dead” season 2.

The network’s UK arm has announced that every episode for at least the first half of the season will air at 2:00 a.m. starting on Monday, April 11, which is the same time at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time on April 10 when the show premieres. This will be followed immediately by “Talking Dead” with Chris Hardwick. The shows will air again in primetime later in the day, just for those of you who have to get up and work the next day or just really value sleep.

Still, this is another smart, innovative way to try to build as much buzz as possible around the show. We find that many of the moves that AMC is making for “Fear” are interesting, largely because we do not really consider it to the biggest hit show in the world to begin with and we wonder if the numbers are going to slide in a big way for season 2. Sure, season 1 may have had some good moments, but did it really do enough by the end to have people hooked? We’re not quite sure.

Hopefully we’ll get some sort of official promo for the second season not long after “The Walking Dead” premieres on AMC come February 14. Stay tuned for more news then!
