‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 9, episode 13 video: The ladies talk … superheroes?

“The Big Bang Theory” season 9 is going to be airing another new episode Thursday night, and we know that one of the primary storylines of it is going to be Sheldon Cooper getting sick. However, let’s take a brief break from that in the sneak-peek below to focus on a little bit of a different topic: Some of the women actually talking (albeit briefly) about superheroes.

For a brief moment, Howard, Leonard, and Raj are all collectively in awe of hearing Bernadette, Penny, and Emily all discuss heroes, with Batman and Iron Man making it into the same conversation. Eventually, though, Leonardo DiCaprio is brought up and that conversation ceases to be interesting to any of them.

Other than the discussion itself, the one thing of substance that we’d comment on here is the fact that clearly, Penny and Emily seem to have worked through some of the issues that they had previously on the show. We don’t see Laura Spencer that much on the series, and as a result of that there aren’t many updates on what her friendship is like with some of the other female characters on the show (if there is much of a friendship there at all). We’d advocate for seeing more of her on the show, but it’s still not entirely clear if we’re ever touching back on Raj’s true feelings for her anytime soon.

As for where Amy is, our guess is that she is off somewhere nursing Sheldon back to health … which is probably harder than any of us can possibly imagine.
