‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 7, episode 10 spoilers: First details on ‘Hell Is Other People’

Salvatore -

The Vampire Diaries” will have been off the air for quite a long time by the point that we get to “Hell Is Other People” on January 29, but hopefully the show is going to find some interesting ways in order to ensure that it is worth the wait. We certainly know that this episode will be different than most, given that Damon Salvatore is trapped and yet another personal hell. This is something that he has some experience with given the start of the sixth season, but this one is going to be rather different. He was trapped in the 90’s last time with Bonnie, and for this episode he may be forced to rely on her.

To get some more news, check out the new synopsis for this episode below:

“After finding himself on the wrong end of Julian’s (guest star Todd Lasance) plan to avenge Lily’s (guest star Annie Wersching) death, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) awakens to find himself trapped inside the Phoenix stone, tormented by a traumatic experience from his time in the Civil War and forced to face his darkest demon in order to get out. On the outside, Bonnie (Kat Graham) is in a race against the clock to get Damon out before the effects of the Phoenix stone take over and leave him changed forever.”

What’s also interesting is the lack of mention of many of the other show’s core characters in here, including Matt, Stefan, and Caroline. Does this mean that they are not a part of the episode? That remains to be seen…
