‘Teen Wolf’ season 5 spoilers: Within the belly of the Beast

Who is the Beast on “Teen Wolf” season 5B? This is a question that we imagine many people wondering over the course of the upcoming nine episodes or so, and it is a question that the writers and producers want you to be asking.

What is important to remember first and foremost as you watch the remainder of the upcoming episodes is that this Beast is not necessarily an actual beast; instead, it is someone who is surrounded by darkness. Here is what executive producer Jeff Davis had to say about the creature to Entertainment Weekly:

“It’s formed by shadows … The chimera that’s inside it is sort of surrounded by it. The person — we don’t know whether it’s a he or she yet — doesn’t necessarily transform like Bruce Banner transforms into the Hulk. It’s actually more just shadows and darkness take shape around that person.”

The mystery will be solved at some point this season, and you have to hope before then that the rest of the cast figure out a way to stay safe. As we have stated so many times in the past, this is not a show that really holds anything back when it comes to who they do and don’t kill off.
