Originally, the idea was for “Agent Carter” season 2 to premiere on Tuesday night, but unfortunately all of that changed with the announcement of the State of the Union coming up on Tuesday night. Now, you’re waiting until January 19 to see Hayley Atwell on TV, with the caveat being that you are looking now at what is a two-hour premiere, with the first hour setting up the stakes for Peggy in Los Angeles before the second really starts to dive you into the action.
The second episode is entitled “A View in the Dark,” and as you can see in the synopsis below, there are some major stakes that come with the latest investigation:
“Peggy discovers her murder investigation has huge ramifications that can destroy her career, as well as everyone near and dear to her.”
One of the nice things about this season for the most part is that almost everything has to move pretty quickly. This is the end result of having only a tiny handful of episodes in a season, so things have to move fairly quickly to get you from point A to point B. By the end of this season, we’re hopefully going to see more of Peggy’s development, and a get a better sense of the history that is eventually going to get us to a fantastic place that we are in with “Agents of SHIELD” season 3. This is a different time, but that doesn’t mean that there will be any less action. There could even be more!
