‘Madam Secretary’ season 2, episode 11 video: Tension brews between Elizabeth and Henry

After a lengthy hiatus, “Madam Secretary” season 2 is set to return on Sunday night with “Unity Node,” an episode that is going to contain quite a few different developments. Not only does the show have to resolve the massive cliffhanger, but we also have some new trials for Elizabeth and also Henry to go along with it. Some of this you can see in the new sneak-peek video below.

What is fascinating about watching this clip is that the show does such an amazing job of not really choosing one side over the next. Both of the characters have their faults; Henry has made some mistakes, but at the same time Tea Leoni’s character has not always afforded him with enough time and attention. Not only that, but this conversation is cut short by another crisis.

Is counseling or something worse on the horizon for the two parties? We want to believe that the two will make it through whatever problems that they are facing in due time, especially since this show is not like the majority of the others out there, who seem to love playing up martial problems and conflict. We know that the McCords remain on the same team, but thanks to their jobs there are issues that at times get in the way in complicate things.

Hey, you can at least take this preview as further proof that nothing happens to Elizabeth in the shooting … not that you were probably too worried about that anyway. There’s zero chance that the show would ever dispose of one of its leads.
