‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Ben Higgins gets another odd group date
We’ve certainly seen over time that “The Bachelor” likes to do some unusual group dates, in particular during the early part of the season. Why? It’s hard to tell, but we figure it is in part a way to test the comfort level of some of the contenders, and also just how committed that they are to falling for Ben Higgins over just being on TV. If someone just wants the airtime, maybe someone in production thinks that they’re not going to be as willing to do some sort of embarrassing stunt to prove themselves.
Based on the synopsis below, the second group date Monday night (head over here to get some more details on the first one) is going to feature some of the women doing “tests” to show what their connection is with Ben. Of course, the funny thing about this is that just because you are compatible doesn’t mean that you actually get alone; we watched enough of “The Millionaire Matchmaker” over the years to know this:
“The final group date of the week brings six women to Los Angeles’ The Love Lab. Scientists put the bachelorettes through a battery of tests — all to discover whose connection with Ben is the strongest. One lucky lady discovers that their match is off the charts. But the rest of the women still try their hardest to convince Ben of their compatibility.”
It’s hard to know for sure just who is taking part in this date right now, but we can at least tell you who is not: We know already that Caila Quinn has the first one-on-one date this season, while Lace Morris is going to be on the first group date based on some sort of stunt she pulls on it.
We’re going to have some other news when it comes to Monday’s new “Bachelor” episode very soon, so be on the lookout for some of them!
