Following a great guest stint on “Criminal Minds,” it looks like Marisol Nichols is joining forces with the show once more.
As confirmed by the actress on Twitter, she will be back for at least one episode of the CBS show presumably, which has utilized many a guest star during season 11 thanks to some cast rotation. Natalie Colfax was based on Los Angeles the last time that we saw the character, but the great news about “Criminal Minds” is that with the structure being what it is, the team can travel almost anywhere for a case with the company plane. That is what could presumably bring Natalie back into the BAU’s world.
Nichols has certainly had a busy past year or so when it comes to guest-starring roles. In addition to playing the part of Colfax, she has also recurred as Zoe Keates on “NCIS” and also has a very important role on “Teen Wolf.” That will become more and more critical over time. (We’re not going to spoil anything in this article if you’re behind on that show.)
New episodes of “Criminal Minds” are going to start airing again on January 13 with “Entropy,” which is going to feature an appearance from Aubrey Plaza (“Parks and Recreation”) as a date of Reid’s that is going to surprise plenty of people out there. Nichols’ appearance will likely be at least a couple of episodes after that, based on the timing of her tweet and where the show is at right now in production. Stay tuned for some other news!
