‘NCIS’ season 13, episode 13 preview: What lies ahead in ‘Deja Vu’?
Given the recent headlines relating to “NCIS” today, it’s weird to be sitting here discussing an episode preview. Yet, the show does still go on, even though Michael Weatherly’s tenure will not at the conclusion of season 13. We’re going to have a whole lot more time to discuss this, so for now let’s move into a discussion of “Deja Vu,” next week’s all-new episode directed by series regular Rocky Carroll. He’s become much more prolific of a director on the show as of late, which makes it clear that there is something obviously that CBS enjoys about what he is bringing to the table.
If you have not seen the synopsis for this episode yet, you can take a look at it below:
“While investigating the murder of a seaman who was set to testify before a grand jury, the NCIS team uncovers the resurgence of an international human-trafficking ring. Also, McGee hopes to spend the night at a colleague’s home after a storm causes massive power outages in the city.”
The McGee storyline is probably the part of this episode that does intrigue us the most, largely because for whatever reason it is left as some sort of great mystery who he would end up spending some time with after the power outage. Could this be something with long-lasting ramifications, or is this more that the network just wants us to have something mysterious to look forward to? Tough to say … but our speculative brain is likely off a little bit given the Weatherly news.

Frankly, following the news of Michael Weatherly’s departure, if an upcoming episode doesn’t feature DiNozzo then I don’t really care! :-(

I’m with you. I really couldn’t care less about the McGee story. I wish Michael Weatherly well but when he leaves NCIS so do I.
