‘The Mysteries of Laura’ season 2: Now with more of a ‘Lost’ reunion!
Love Harold Perrineau and Greg Grunberg? These are two guys who top the list for us of people who are deserving of another series-regular gig in the future, but for now we’re just thrilled that they are getting another chance to shine on “The Mysteries of Laura.”
According to Entertainment Weekly, the “Lost” actors (Grunberg may be better known to some from “Heroes”) both have appearances coming on the same season 2 episode entitled “The Mystery of the Morning Jog.” For Perrineau, he will be taking on the part of Charles Baptise, the father of a former Olympic gymnast who has a history of getting angry in a very short period of time. Meanwhile, Grunberg will be Kurt Berhenson, an ex-husband fighting for custody of his son while also serving as a member of a group advocating men’s rights.
As for how these two fit into the overall mystery of this particular episode, that remains to be seen … but we are interested in finding out. New episodes of “The Mysteries of Laura” are going to be coming back on Wednesday nights starting this week with “The Mystery of the Triple Threat” as a part of the all-too-familiar lineup. Here’s a brief tease about that:
“Laura (Debra Messing) and the team delve into an Urban Treasure Hunt and track a killer from the gritty rooftops of New York to the opulent halls of the symphony. Along the way, Laura is forced to consider new configurations of modern love.”
There will be more where that comes from as we continue further in the month. Stay tuned for more updates.
