‘Chicago Fire’ season 4 spoilers: New details on ‘Chicago Med’ crossover event

While there may be once again no new episode of “Chicago Fire” airing on NBC tonight, we’ve at least got a few more details that give us a look into not only who finds Herrmann following what happened between him and Freddie, but also who brought him over to Chicago Med to see if his condition improves. These are events that will be chronicled during what is a two-night crossover event between these shows and “Chicago Med,” which will begin with “Fire” at a special time on Tuesday, January 5 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern.

As a sneak peek for the episode (via TVLine) gives away, you will see none other than Dawson help to rush Herrmann in and ensure that he is properly cared for within the walls of the hospital, while the team from this show do their part to immediately try to save his life. While there may be other threads that connect the three “Chicago” series, it is easy to assume at least superficially that this will be the primary thread connecting all of them together.

Will Herrmann make it out of this alive? Given that Molly’s is a staple of the series we like to assume so, but we don’t want to start getting of the mindset that “Chicago Fire” wouldn’t possibly kill someone off when they’ve clearly done it before. Not only that, but they did it with someone super-prominent in Leslie Shay.
