‘Saturday Night Live’: Dr. Ben Carson reacts to Jay Pharoah impersonation

SNL -Over the years, one thing we’ve come to see is that not everyone is particularly a fan of getting mocked on “Saturday Night Live.” Some get offended, and others merely get their feelings hurt by what the NBC show puts of them on the air.

Luckily, Dr. Ben Carson doesn’t seem to be altogether upset with the spoof that Jay Pharoah has created of him, which has become more and more ridiculous over time. In the video below from CNN’s “The Lead,” the Presidential candidate claims that he has “no problem” with what the show has created here. It’s incredibly silly, but at the same exact time it does do a good job of capturing some of his mannerism and vocal techniques. It may actually be one of our favorite Pharoah impressions in quite some time. His President Obama is very accurate, but it’s hard to get this sort of silliness from it most of the time.

As for whether or not this means that we’re going to get a Ben Carson cameo on the show in the near future, it’s pretty unlikely. The show typically gives their cameo spots to frontrunners, which are to date Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. At this point, even Ted Cruz could potentially have a better shot at airtime given where he stands in the Iowa polls.

New episodes of “Saturday Night Live” will begin airing once more on NBC starting on Saturday, January 16. Adam Driver of “Girls” and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” will be the host.
