‘Homeland’ season 5, episode 11 preview: Can Carrie and Saul get Quinn awake?

HomelandAs “Homeland” starts to reach the end, there is one question that is at the top of our list: Is there going to be a way to stop the attack on Germany? It seems like the answer to that question is a clear “yes,” but the problem comes via finding a way to ensure that it happens.

This is where the new sneak-peek video below is important. In this clip, you can see Carrie and Saul doing everything that they can to ensure that they get a little bit of further information on how to stop the attack from someone who is going to be able to adequately help: Quinn. He was in the company of terrorists, and therefore may have more information than anyone else does in regards to how to stop them.

Of course, herein lies the problem: Trying to find a way to ensure that he is awake. He is currently hospitalized in a coma, and despite their pleas to the doctor, he insists that there is no way to safely bring Quinn to consciousness. If they do, the risk not only failing to get the information, but also his life.

We expect a lot of hurry-up-and-wait moments Sunday as Claire Danes and Mandy Patinkin’s characters try to navigate this difficult situation, and by the end of the episode we should know precisely where we are going in the finale. Thanks to the recent renewal by Showtime, we can watch with confidence that the series is not going anywhere.
