‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: Tone Bell to play Iris’ new boss

Iris -

The second season of “The Flash” has certainly introduced us to a revolving door of guest stars … but for most of them, they have been of the meta-human variety. We’re changing things up somewhat going into the rest of this story.

According to Variety, Tone Bell (“Truth Be Told”) has signed up for an arc as Scott Evans, the opinionated, sharp new boss at the Central City Picture News. He will oversee the world of Iris and many of the other characters, and will really push her to get to the truth of what is going on in the city. This is the sort of mentor that Iris could use, and it will help her to probably grow as a character. We’ve heard that there is going to be plenty of opportunities for her to shine in this particular realm this season, and maybe this will be the beginnings of that.

Let’s just hope that this story ends for him in a different way than it did Iris’ old boss, who was killed in pretty horrific fashion. We imagine that with his style, he is going to be a major threat to some people out there, and that could make him a target.

For now, “The Flash” is going to be going on midseason hiatus, and it will return to The CW with all-new episodes starting on Tuesday, January 19. We’ll have some more updates as it comes up!
