‘Finding Carter’ season 2 finale spoilers: Can Carter save herself from Jared?

To call Tuesday night’s new episode of “Finding Carter” eventful would be making the understatement of all time. Jared finally got himself found out for his actions, Carter started to move forward, and Bird made it clear that she was pregnant not long after losing Seth.

Next week marks a two-hour finale, and it is one that could send many of the cast members on the show into a tailspin. The brief synopsis below (via TV Guide) is only a slight teaser:

“A shocking event leaves Carter unsure about Jared; Ben faces the cost of his past misdeeds, and Bird faces a personal crisis following the death of a loved one.”

The big revelation is what was announced in the promo that aired after the episode: If Jared can turn over every person responsible for the drug ring, he may have a way to walk free. He’s suddenly now a man on a mission despite his arrest, and may be able to get through this despite everything terrible that he’s done.

Thanks to this, carter has a new reason to fight, and she may have to do more than just standing up for herself; she may also have to figure out a way to keep Ben safe, help lead Bird down a path for her future, and figure out what is next for her given that she dropped out of school thinking that she was ready for a normal life, only to instead end up working at a bar using a fake ID and dating its owner, a guy secretly involved in an illegal drug trade.
