‘Galavant’ season 2 video: New promo gives you the quickest of summaries

ABC definitely wants you to watch the upcoming second season of “Galavant.” To go along with that, they also want you to encourage your friends to do the same, and maybe your friends don’t have a lot of free time.

This is probably why the network created the promo below, which offers up the quickest of summaries as to how we made it to this point, where Galavant is off on an adventure with King Richard (his former adversary) with a pair of different goals: Trying to thwart their former love Madalena (who is at this point completely mad with power), and also figuring out a way for Richard to get his throne back once and for all.

Once you get past the summary portion of this promo, there are also some fun moments! To us, one of the greatest highlights comes in seeing a random shirt-ripped that comes right in the middle of a musical number. This show manages to stay continually tongue-in-cheek, and that includes giving us a few reminders that they are in on the joke of just how handsome Galavant truly is.

There are only five weeks in which new episodes of the show are going to air, and it all begins on Sunday, January 5. Hopefully it will be very bit as funny as season 1, and give us a heck of a lot to look forward to in addition to it. Be on the lookout for more scoop soon!
