‘The X Factor’ UK notes: 4th Impact petition; Nick Grimshaw ‘skewers’ Che Chesterman
There is already a petition online with thousands of names on it to not only get the ladies signed to Simon Cowell’s record label, but also to have them appear on “Ellen” in America. “Ellen” has featured a wide array of talented acts over the years, and she shares a connection with Simon in that they were both a part of the ninth season of “American Idol.” We’re not sure if that will happen or not, but Cowell would be silly seemingly to not sign the group to a deal. While they may not have received the same number of votes in Britain as the other acts, they have an enormous following all over the world, especially in Asia. It’s just about finding them the right songs and the venues to shine.
Che Chesterman “mocked” by Nick Grimshaw – A lot of tabloids out there are making a meal out of the Instagram video first posted by Grimshaw, which features him jabbing his remaining act Che Chesterman for forgetting the words to Adele’s “Hello” this past week. Che is in the background, trying to get out of camera-shot, while Nick starts to sing the hit only to forget some of the words.
Here’s our response to all of the people out there suggesting that Grimshaw is being mean: Do you think that he really posted this video without asking Che first if he could? He wants Che to succeed; he not only cares for him, but it also makes him look like a better mentor if he does.
