‘Finding Carter’ season 2, episode 21 preview: ‘The Death of a Heart’

Tonight on “Finding Carter,” we had a chance to witness a wide array of surprises. Grant got himself stoned on accident, Carter met Jared’s “wife,” and Max had to prepare more and more for some hard stuff coming up with his father.

The title for next week’s episode certainly sounds devastating on its own: “The Death of a Heart.” After reading the synopsis below, we cannot say that we’re altogether confident about there being anything resembling happy times coming up in the future:

“Carter’s relationship with Jared is tested; things come to a head between Elizabeth and Lori; and Max deals with the aftermath of his father’s trial.”

As we get closer and closer to the end of the season, the easiest thing to predict is the end of the Jared / Carter relationship. Maybe we’re wrong and they will stay together, but there is something in the water right now when it comes to some of the problems that she is having with him. For one, he is not exactly showing himself to be the most respectful of guys, even though we are seeing a he-said, she-said sort of situation right now with his child’s mother. He did have proof that he was a good guy, but they already have so many problems so early in their relationship.

Given that we do now know the future of “Finding Carter” at the moment beyond this season, let’s just hope that they give you some sort of reasonable-satisfying conclusion in the event that the show is not picked up for a third season. We’ll have some other news on the show in the days ahead!
