‘The X Factor’ UK spoilers: Theme for Che Chesterman, Louisa Johnson; Ed Sheeran, Olly Murs performing

The latest news -

So what are Che Chesterman, Louisa Johnson, and the remaining contestants on “The X Factor” singing this weekend? Love and heartbreak. That is the theme for the upcoming show, which to us feels almost like it’s not really all that different from any other episode of the show. This is typically what the bulk of the songs are about at the moment.

Here is our one request: Nobody do “I Am Telling You I’m Not Going,” “I Will Always Love You,” or anything by Stevie Wonder. We’re begging you. There’s been too much.

Anyway, there is also a rather-robust lineup of performances coming this weekend as well! On Saturday, Ed Sheeran is going to hit the stage alongside Rudimental, while show co-host Olly Murs will get a chance to perform on Sunday alongside Nathan Sykes. It’s a busy weekend for celebrity guests, and we imagine for Olly it’s a chance at redemption after having to spend all week hearing constantly about a gaffe he made during the last live show.

So who is in rough shape going into the weekend? Anton Stephans needs to recover after spending a week in the bottom two, and we feel like time is probably going to be running out soon for Mason Noise, given that he is so polarizing as an artist. The two acts mentioned at the start of this article alongside Lauren Murray and 4th Impact are probably the favorites to make it all the way to the end. That’s tough news for Simon Cowell, who has only Anton remaining on his team.
