‘Chicago Fire’ season 4, episode 7 preview: The story for Taylor Kinney, cast in ‘Sharp Elbows’

Chicago Fire -On the next new installment of “Chicago Fire,” there are going to be at least a few things that are not altogether different from what we saw on the show this past time it was on the air. Captain Patterson is still someone who should go away sooner rather than later, there is still romance in the air, and we’re going to get a chance to see Severide on the offensive. The difference this time around is that he may have a chance to chat it up with his father. Also, it’s coming after the past time Severide was on the offensive.

“Sharp Elbows” is the title for this installment, and in the attached synopsis, you can get a few more details regarding what is coming up:

“Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) finds himself in the middle of a fiasco concerning a female neighbor (guest star Ilfenesh Hadera), who he believes is setting him up. Severide (Taylor Kinney), who is still on probation from his altercation with Captain Patterson (guest star Brian While), receives a surprise visit from his father (guest star Treat Williams) and discovers some interesting information on Patterson that could be a game changer. Meanwhile, romance blossoms at the Chicago Fire Department gala.”

The series as a whole is doing what we would consider to be some interesting stuff at the moment, and while we felt at times like the start of season 4 (Casey and Dawson aside) was sluggish, it has since picked up in all directions.
