TV Quick Hits: Barbara Walters – Donald Trump sit-down; ‘American Idol’ poster; Sarah Jessica Parker’s TV return
Barbara Walters, Donald Trump to sit down – Walters does not do many interviews these days in her retirement, but she will return to “20/20” on Friday with a singular purpose in mind: Interviewing Donald Trump. In other news, “20/20” is going to have a ton of people watching on Friday night. This comes after the Presidential candidate managed to lift a bad “Saturday Night Live” episode to the show’s best demo ratings for a regularly-scheduled installment in over a year.

First look at “Divorce” – The image below is from the upcoming Sarah Jessica Parker series on HBO, where she will be playing the character of Frances, a woman potentially looking to start again in her life. However, this may not be so easy as she assumed it would be. This is Parker’s first series for the network since the end of “Sex and the City,” and like with Trump on ABC, we are sure that the expectation is for big ratings.
We imagine that “Divorce” is going to air at some point in late 2016 / early 2017, but there are no confirmed dates set yet.
“American Idol” poster – Finally, we turn to the new poster via TVLine for the final season of “American Idol,” which is milking the nostalgia angle in every way humanly possible. There are many familiar faces present from Kelly Clarkson to Carrie Underwood to Adam Lambert to Phillip Phillips to Jennifer Hudson. Also, the woman at the center, model Amanda Noret, was featured in the same image for the first season so many years ago. Obviously, this season is all about paying tribute to shows gone by.
