‘Gotham’ season 2, episode 10 preview: A Theo Galavan surprise; a Mr. Freeze tease

Theo -

There are some pretty big spoilers in the promo below for next week’s new episode of “Gotham” … specifically when it comes to the character of Theo Galavan.

Let’s start with the big shocker: He is released from prison already! Despite the best efforts of Jim Gordon to get the necessary evidence in order to incriminate him once and for all, he is getting out of jail and is set to cause even more trouble. Also, Jim punches him in the face. Seriously, doesn’t Gordon have any more chill than this? There is a little bit of a difference between being violent and knowing common sense; punching someone in a courthouse really falls in the latter category.

We’ve heard previously that this episode will be a huge one for the Galavant character; while the synopsis below does not really reveal that, it does give you some other news in terms of what to expect:

“Gordon confronts a suspect who is connected to Galavan, but falls short of obtaining any information. Meanwhile, Bruce gets one step closer to discovering the name of his parent’s killer.”

This episode is one away from the fall finale, so you better prepare / hope for some significant reveals in here.

For those wondering, don’t read too much into the Mr. Freeze easter egg with the logo reveal at the end. We know the character is coming, but he will not be a huge force on the show until the second half of the season. This is similar to the promo department recently planted a classic Riddler question mark in the logo, which they have done in the past.
