‘NCIS’ season 13 spoilers: First look at ‘Blood Brothers,’ Lindsay Wagner appearance

NCIS -It is no secret to any diehard “NCIS” fan at this point that Lindsay Wagner is appearing on an upcoming episode of the show. The original “Bionic Woman” was cast recently in the role of Ellie Bishop’s mother, and we will be seeing her as Bishop goes home for Thanksgiving.

We can now tell you that the episode surrounding Wagner and this story is entitled “Blood Brothers,” and it will air on November 24. The synopsis offers up some additional details on what to expect:

“In the hopes of sparing a family further tragedy, the Secretary of the Navy calls on NCIS to help a sailor battling leukemia locate a bone marrow transplant after his two Marine siblings are killed in the line of duty. Also, Bishop returns home to Oklahoma for the Thanksgiving holiday.”

It is good to see just what the story of the week is going to be in this episode, and we hope given the season and the holiday spirit the show finds a way to give it some sort of happy resolution and the sailor gets precisely what he needs. This is also a different sort of case for the NCIS than what we are used to seeing them tackle.

As for why the focus remains mostly on Bishop and Wagner’s appearance in this article, the simple answer is that we have so much more in the way of context for this story than anything else. We also understand that the events of this episode could be sparked by what we see Tuesday night between her and Jake.
