‘Supergirl’ episode 4 preview: Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s Lucy Lane takes center stage
On next week’s new episode of “Supergirl,” we appear to have a little bit of everything. There will continue to be a variety of struggles in National City that require the attention of our title hero, but at the same time, Kara Danvers has her own problems to deal with. She has a very different sort of mission babysitting Cat Grant’s son, and she also has to contend with the arrival of Lucy Lane to town. Lucy, played by Jenna Dewan-Tatum, has a history with James Olsen. Not only that, but she is very keen on knowing whether or not he could have a thing for Supergirl!
The synopsis below gives you more of a sense as to what could be coming up:
“Kara’s two identities are stretched thin when Supergirl must protect National City from a series of bombings and Kara is tasked with babysitting Cat’s son, Carter. Also, James is conflicted when his ex-girlfriend Lucy Lane seeks to rekindle their relationship.”
We do hope that the show opts to take their time in continuing to build the relationship between James and Kara / Supergirl, if for no other reason than that there’s really no need to rush. The relationship between Iris and Barry on “The Flash” is a nice road map, or at least it will be if these two are designed to be endgame. We feel like that is where we’re heading on The CW show, but we suppose it is possible that the “Supergirl” producers have not looked that far into their crystal ball just yet in predicting the future.
