NBC’s ‘The Voice’ spoilers: What Jordan Smith, Blaine Mitchell, Regina Love will perform

VoiceMonday night’s new episode of “The Voice” is almost upon us, and we are now back to continue what is a weekly tradition for our coverage here at CarterMatt: Song spoilers! These come to us courtesy of iTunes, who always lists the tracks a little bit early.

Remember in particular with this article that there are actually six artists performing for each team, including a wild card. For the spoiler-conscious we won’t reveal who the wild-card choices are here, but it should be pretty accessible out there if you really want to know over the next few hours. The show tonight will feature artists from Gwen Stefani and Adam Levine’s teams.

Team Adam

Jordan Smith, “Halo” – Love Jordan. Strongly dislike the song choice. It’s not inventive enough for him.

Shelby Brown, “You’re No Good” – Here’s Adam and Shelby attempting to differentiate her slightly from some of the other country artists you’ll see Tuesday. This song is at least something she can add country elements to.

Keith Semple, “To Be With You” – We like this Mr. Big song probably more than we should admit. Nice choice.

Blaine Mitchell, “Never Tear Us Apart” – The song’s a little dated, but it’s rock! It should at least be fun.

Amy Vachal, “The Way You Look Tonight” – We’re fairly fond of this one, especially if it’s a flip of the Frank Sinatra version.

Team Gwen

Viktor Kiraly, “All Around the World” – Great choice, since it is an older song that may not be all that exposed yet on singing shows.

Regina Love, “Hello” – Well, someone’s getting aboard the Adele song before anyone else can!

Korin Bukowski, “Adia” – Hey, we’re just glad someone is doing a Sarah McLachlan song that is not on sad puppy commercials.

Jeffrey Austin, “Say You Love Me” – Jessie Ware’s super-current. It’s hard to quibble much with Gwen’s song choice here.

Braiden Sunshine, “Everything I Own” – Well, it was. We’re not sure Braiden will emotionally connect to this song by Bread in the way that’s needed.
