‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 7 spoilers: Meet another new face in Rayna

Want to know who the latest addition is to “The Vampire Diaries” season 7? Here’s an early clue for you: It’s yet another vampire hunter!

According to a new report from Entertainment Weekly, Leslie-Anne Huff is going to be coming aboard the show in the role of Rayna, a vampire hunter who is extremely dangerous, and revived to wreck a little bit of havoc once more. Vampire hunters have not been an extremely common occurrence on the show as of late. As a matter of fact, one of the most recent ones that we had was Jeremy, who started to transform into that before being written off the show for the most part.

Of course, you can also look back at Mikael (who has since moved over to “The Originals”) if you are really out to look at some of the most terrifying entries in this particular category of characters over the years.

One of the questions that we have is if this could be someone who is hunting down Damon and Stefan in the flash-forward? We’ve already seen that someone is after them, but we’re not entirely sure who it is. If it does turn out to be a new character, will it really be that satisfying?

There is yet another new episode of “The Vampire Diaries” coming to The CW on Thursday night, so be on the lookout for some further details on that subject very soon!
