‘Blue Bloods’ season 6, episode 8 preview: Danny’s search for a serial killer continues

If you look back to earlier this season on “Blue Bloods,” what we ended up seeing was a story for the most part about Danny Reagan doing everything that he could to stop a serial killer in his tracks. Unfortunately, he was unsuccessful. This is one of the few examples we have had over the years of the show of a story that did not end when the episode did, and we did not go back to it right away a la a two-parter.

For those of you who have been wanting some more resolution when it comes to this story, it’s coming next week with the installment entitled “Unsung Heroes.” Based on the synopsis below, it is fairly clear that Danny’s trouble trying to take down this killer is going to be at a peak:

“When Danny and his family are threatened by Thomas Wilder (Louis Cancelmi), a serial killer Danny has been unable to apprehend, Linda’s concern intensifies over her husband’s job as well as the state of their marriage. Also, Jamie challenges his superior officer, Sgt. William Mulvey (A.J. Buckley), during a hostage situation.”

For the most part, we imagine that this is going to be a dangerous, emotional episode of the show that could change quite a bit with this story. While we can offer no guarantees that this story will end, let’s just hope that nothing is going to happen to Danny’s family in the end.
