‘Better Call Saul’ season 2 video: Your Jimmy McGill highlight reel
Excited to see the second season of “Better Call Saul” premiere on AMC at some point early next year? You are not alone. Unfortunately, you still have at least a couple of months to wait. The show is still filming in Albuquerque with Bob Odenkirk and the rest of the cast, and the network is waiting to announce a premiere date.
What they are not doing, however, is making you wait any longer to see the first promo! If you look below, you can see a teaser that is mostly a season 1 highlight reel set to what has to be a perfect theme song for all things Jimmy McGill. He is just a guy out to make money and raise his notoriety, and is not afraid to get his hands a little dirty in the process. Through most of it, though, there was still an underlying desire to do the right thing; he didn’t want to hurt anyone, and wanted to be seen as respected in the eyes of his brother.
Once he realized that this may never happen, things started to change. Specifically, we saw the onset of the return of Slippin’ Jimmy. This alter ego stemmed back to some tough times for him earlier in life, and we feel like there is a certain element of his person who becomes Saul Goodman. As for just how much of this persona we end up seeing in the near future … well, you’re going to have to wait until the second season premieres to find out. We do think that we are getting closer to that fateful moment when the transformation happens entirely.
