‘Chicago Fire’ season 4, episode 5 preview: Can Taylor Kinney’s Severide fight his way back?

Chicago Fire -For most of “Chicago Fire” season 4 to date, what we’ve had a chance to see are a wide range of different stories play out. However, one that we’ve certainly seen play out more than any other so far is Severide’s struggle. Ever since being metaphorically kicked down the latter, his story has been mostly about tricky to find a way to ascend once again and take a little bit of what he considers to be his.

You knew that eventually his story was going to peak and turn into something extremely intense, and that seems to be the case on the NBC series next week. The promo below shows that both he and Boden could end up cracking for different reasons, and we’re going to see Dawson in a similar position, albeit for very different circumstances.

If you want to get some other basic news in terms of what to expect in this episode, our suggestion is that you take a look at the synopsis below:

“After a fire ruins a neighborhood wedding, Boden (Eamonn Walker) steps up to host the ceremony at the firehouse. That’s much to the chagrin of his boss, Chief Riddle (guest star Fredric Lehne), whose political aspirations have caused friction from within the firehouse. Meanwhile, Dawson (Monica Raymund), who returns to the house, also butts heads with Riddle over her ability to perform and is forced to defend herself despite Boden’s support. Severide (Taylor Kinney) finds himself fighting for his way back to his old position and Capt. Patterson (guest star Brian White) is caught between loyalty towards leadership and loyalty to his colleagues.”
