‘Blue Bloods’ season 6, episode 7 preview: All about a famous car

If nothing else, “Blue Bloods” tackles a wide array of issues week in and week out. On Friday night, we specifically saw Donnie Wahlberg and company take on everything from police brutality to a story that seemed at least in part inspired by Rachel Dolezal.

Next week, the story of “The Bullitt Mustang” is going to be about something completely different; specifically, what happens when a famous car from a classic movie is stolen. We want to think that this is going to be much more of a lighthearted story than we’ve seen in the past, but nothing on this show is ever that simple. If for some reason the tale of the missing car does happen to be rather quick and breezy, there could be some other serious stuff coming up courtesy of Erin and Frank. Take a look at the synopsis below, just in the event you have not seen it already:

“Danny and Baez investigate the theft of the famous car that was driven in a classic film, now owned by Owen Cairo (Anthony Edwards). Also, Erin is at odds with Frank after the acting District Attorney orders that a slew of cops be arrested for fixing traffic tickets for their friends.”

The status of Jamie and Eddie is not mentioned at all here, but let’s hope that they figure out one way or another to work things out after what was an extremely tricky series of events for them Friday after he started to feel like she was protecting herself completely at his own expense.
