‘The X Factor’ UK spoilers: What Max Stone, Mason Noise, Alien Uncovered will sing

X Factor -Saturday marks the first live show for “The X Factor,” and we think that it is personally far too cruel to have to wait until then to find out just what the contestants are going to perform live. Therefore, we’ve got all of the songs for you below for your reading pleasure! Some of these song choices are creative, whereas there are a few others we’re going to pretend just didn’t happen.

The Boys (Nick Grimshaw)

Mason Noise – “Sorry” by Justin Bieber. Nice choice. Super-current, and at least he is appealing himself to Bieber fans.

Seann Miley Moore – “Life on Mars” by David Bowie. These are the sort of eclectic songs we want to see him do all season.

Che Chesterman – “Tears Dry On Their Own / Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” by Amy Winehouse / Marvin Gaye and Tammi Tarrell. Anytime that Che isn’t doing a song from the typical book of ballad-boy songs, we’re happy.

The Groups

Alien Uncovered – “Do It Like a Dude” by Jessie J. It’s edgy, and therefore it’s perfect for them.

4th Impact – “Problem” by Ariana Grande. Given that their voices are similar in ways to Ariana’s, this makes sense. Bonus points if they pull off the Iggy Azalea rap.

Reggie & Bollie – “Beautiful Girls” by Sean Kingston. We’re still not sure that they will last this season, but at least they picked a song that will not expose their vocal limitations.

The Girls

Louisa Johnson – “God Only Knows” by the Beach Boys. The funny thing with Louisa is that she is so current that she can make an old song like this feel new.

Monica Michael – “Make It Rain” by Ed Sheeran. Huge song. This will be a big moment for her to go along with the wildcard.

Lauren Murray – “I’m Every Woman” by Chaka Khan. Why? Unless she does something unique with it, this is a rather boring choice for her.

Kiera Weathers – “Crying for No Reason” by Katy B. We like that we didn’t know this song before just now. It shows that she is thinking rather creatively.

The Overs

Anton Stephans – “Dance with My Father” by Luther Vandross. He’ll probably sing it really well, but this choice is just so obvious.

Max Stone – “Someone Like You” by Adele. Can Max breathe new life into a song that was at one point singing-show overkill? Let’s hope.

Bupsi – “You’re a Wonderful One” by Marvin Gaye. We would’ve preferred her doing something current to stave off criticism that she is dated a performer.
