‘Chicago PD’ season 3, episode 7 preview: ‘A Dead Kid, a Notebook, and a Ton of Maybes’

Chicago PD -Wednesday night was quite a smorgasbord when it comes to “Chicago PD.” You had a chance to see two full episodes that gave you more news on Lindsay and Halstead, some difficult cases, and challenges for Voight across the board.

Next week, we’re going in a little bit of a different direction courtesy of “A Dead Kid, a Notebook, and a Lot of Maybes.” That is an unusual title, and the synopsis below describes a particularly harrowing story:

“Intelligence sets out to find a missing teenaged boy who they believe poses a serious threat to the students at his wealthy school after finding disturbing drawings in his notebook. Meanwhile, Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) is eager to make a good impression on a prominent African American police Captain and Olinsky (Elias Koteas) and Michelle (guest star Madison McLaughlin) find themselves in a difficult situation and turn to Ruzek (Patrick Flueger) and Burgess (Marina Squerciati) for help.”

By the time we make it through this story, we may get a chance to see a number of character stories push forward … but even still, this is not the most descriptive synopsis of all time. Lindsay is not even mentioned, and the same goes for Voight. Maybe this episode is a little bit of a different spotlight for some other people; or, maybe we are going to get a chance to see someone rise up in a surprising way.

We’re going to have some other news when it comes to “Chicago PD” moving forward, so be on the lookout as time goes by!
