‘The X Factor’ UK notes: Louisa Johnson and shoe conspiracies; Caroline Flack’s health rumors

The way people freak out over “The X Factor” and the smallest rumors is extremely entertaining. Sometimes, it doesn’t even make that much sense.

For example, some of the latest rumors that the show is “rigged” just because of the fact that Louisa Johnson was seen wearing two different pairs of shoes during her segments at Judges’ Houses. Even if she did wear different shoes, how does that change anything? The only thing that this shows is that the sequence of her “walking to perform” for judge Rita Ora and special guest Meghan Trainor was filmed at a different time than the actual performance; or, it shows that she wore different shoes for one of her two performance. (Yes, everyone actually does perform twice.)

A spokesperson for the show confirmed this in a statement:

“Louisa’s performance of Respect was filmed in one take and she is clearly wearing the same shoes throughout that performance. We do occasionally film out of sequence and the shot of Louisa walking to the judges in trainers was taken from her other performance.”

Caroline Flack will host – For all of those wondering, Caroline’s recent bout with the flu is not going to keep her away from co-hosting the show this weekend alongside Olly Murs. These two have as much pressure on them as anyone, since everyone wants to know whether or not they can be as entertaining as they were during “The Xtra Factor” years ago.
