‘The Walking Dead’ season 6, episode 4 preview: Lennie James’ Morgan shines in ‘Here’s Not Here’

twdWe are already excited to see the next new episode of “The Walking Dead,” even though Sunday night’s episode is still wrapping up at the time we are beginning this article. The first thing you should know about it other than the title “Here’s Not Here” is the surprising run time. This installment is going to last for a full hour and a half, which puts it right up there with the premiere when it comes to overall length. This is going to be a mouthful and then some, so be prepared for a mountain of different stories.

Of course, the irony here is that despite having such a long episode, AMC has released what may just be one of the shortest synopses known to mankind. It is hard to take away much of anything from this:

“A new face appears in Alexandria while trust issues form within the community.”

The promo makes it a little more clear (pun intended) what this episode is going to be about: A profile for Lennie James’ Morgan.

Obviously, given the HUGE shocker tonight when it comes to Glenn, this is going to be a powerful episode. Everyone has to prove that they are capable of moving forward, in particular Maggie, who has seemingly lost everything. We’re also of course curious in Rick and Daryl, given their status as some of the other original series standbys. Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus were around the show just as long as Steven Yeun, and this is going to take a while to process.

Honestly, we’re still reeling from watching this episode, but we’ll be back later with some further coverage, analysis, a promo, and much more. Our hearts are smashed, but the show did something they really haven’t done in a while: Deliver a massive shocker.
