‘Blue Bloods’ season 6, epiosde 6 preview: Why is Jamie under investigation?

“Blue Bloods” is a show that is certainly familiar with stories pertaining to police brutality. We have seen a wide array of these on the program over the years, but this one is going to be different for a variety of different reasons. For one, it is Jamie who is under suspicion thanks to being caught on camera doing something extremely questionable. It puts Frank in a tough situation, and Jamie is also going to have to find a way to defend himself from all of the criticism that could come his way. Given the attitude of many towards the police on the show at this point, he may find it harder than usual to plead his case.

Meanwhile, the synopsis below gives you some further details, including how something Danny and Baez are working on could eventually be tied into the Jamie story in a rather unusual way:

“When Jamie is caught on camera committing what could be construed as police brutality at an anti-policy demonstration, Frank is forced to turn the case over to Internal Affairs. Also, Danny and Baez investigate a rape case involving a civil rights attorney who claims the charges were drummed up in retaliation for the investigation into Jaime.”

Ultimately, this looks to be a powerful episode, but particularly for the Jamie character. This could ultimately be his most powerful one of the entire season, depending on what happens with Jamie the rest of the way. We’ll have some further news moving forward.
