‘Chicago PD’ season 3 spoilers: A case of particular importance in ‘Forget My Name’
Anytime that you are dealing with a death related to the United States Government, things are going to be a little bit complicated. It’s not so easy as just informing the family, since they could have been working undercover before they were killed. If the wrong information leaks, it could lead to a major incident.
While we’re not sure that the case on the upcoming November 11 episode of “Chicago PD” (entitled “Forget My Name”) is as complicated as we are potentially making it out to be here, the synopsis below does help to make it relatively clear that there are some problems that could come from finding this man’s body:
“When Intelligence follows up on a tip Antonio (Jon Seda) and Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) received from a reliable informant about an upcoming drug trade, the team is shocked to discover the mutilated body of a man. Upon further investigation, the body is identified as a government official and when Olinksy (Elias Koteas), Ruzek (Patrick Flueger), Lindsay (Sophia Bush) and Halstead question the man’s acquaintances they discover he had access to very important devices. Meanwhile, Burgess (Marina Squerciati) helps plan a surprise for Platt (Amy Morton).”
Do we wish that there was some more information when it comes to specific character stories in here? Sure, but there could be reasons why there’s not any. For one, maybe things are being kept secret for a reason, or there just may not be that much in the way of character development in this installment. It’s ultimately a little too early in the process right now to know for sure.
