‘Switched at Birth’ season 4 finale: Vanessa Marano talks Bay – Travis story

Is it possible that Bay and Travis could actually become a couple on Monday’s “Switched at Birth” finale? Anything is possible within the world of TV, and it definitely at least appears that some of these feelings could be explored.

Vanessa Marano has seen Bay’s journey first-hand, and that includes a lot of highs and lows. She’s seen her be with Emmett, go through everything terrible with Tank, and be single for the most part this summer. How does she summarize the story that is coming up for these two characters? Speaking to TVLine on the subject, she previews the story with the following:

“Bay is told that Travis has feelings for her … This is the first episode where she’s actually aware of it; she’s, somehow, the only person who didn’t know. So we’ll see her figure out how she actually feels about that. Honestly, I don’t think she’s ever thought of him in that way, then all of a sudden it’s thrown in her face, and she has to make a decision.”

Is it possible that something like this could last? While we think that Bay and Emmett are for the two most destined to be endgame on the show, we do think that we’re in the right place now to explore this further. Bay and Travis have each grown substantially since when they first turned up on the show, and they could continue to grow and be better people together. Also, we feel like a lot of story could be eventually mined out of seeing how other people feel about Bay and Travis being together.

What do you think: Could this relationship work, and should it? Let us know now with a comment.
