‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 21 preview: ‘Girl Meets Texas: Part 2’ and Riley, Maya, and Lucas drama

On the Disney Channel Friday night, fans of “Girl Meets World” officially got a chance to kick off the journey of “Girl Meets Texas” with the first of a three-part television event.

Luckily for many of you, you’re not going to have to wait long to see part 2. This one will air on the Disney Channel Friday night, and will provide primarily an opportunity to see more of what happens in the Lone Star State that impacts our three leads in Maya, Lucas, and Riley forever. The short teaser from the Disney Channel speaks for itself: “Riley, Maya and Lucas try to figure out their feelings while they are in Texas together. Guest starring: Country singers Maddie and Tae.”

One thing we do find ourselves wondering a little bit is why the Disney Channel just didn’t make this into a TV movie, even if they just had that for Rowan Blanchard with “Invisible Sister.” We know that there’s no clear answer to that, but if you have been curious ultimately if one of the three aforementioned characters is about to have a major romantic breakthrough, part 2 is the particular installment for you. Everything that happens here will be unraveled in part 3, which features the characters returning back home.

We’re going to have further news on this special throughout the days ahead, so our suggestion for now is to just stay tuned for some further insight, and hopefully some reactions to individual parts of the story here and there.
