‘Bones’ season 11 spoilers: Will Laura Spencer still appear after ‘Big Bang Theory’ promotion?

Earlier this week, there was certainly some good news announced for Laura Spencer: Greater job security! She was promoted to regular for the ninth season of “The Big Bang Theory,” which means that this show will take top priority for her over anything else.

With that being said, does that mean that Jessica Warren is done with “Bones“? Not necessarily. The first thing to remember here is that she is a fractional regular on “The Big Bang Theory,” meaning that she’s not going to appear in every episode. Thanks to this, there will be some time here and there for her to appear on “Bones.” It also helps that for a sitcom, the schedule is light enough that there is some time here and there to do some other stuff.

Specifically, TVLine reports that you will see Spencer on the show again in episode 6, which is going to give you some more insight into the relationship between Jessica and Aubrey. Here is what executive producer Michael Peterson had to say on the subject:

“We’re going to see what happens with Jessica and Aubrey. We saw a little bit of a spark last year.”

We figure that “Bones” will come up with some interesting ways to use this character, if for no other reason than that this is what they do. They have built such a robust roster of recurring characters that even if we don’t see someone for a while, they can always come back. For example, we do know that Arastoo’s story is far from over.
