‘Saturday Night Live’ preview: Tracy Morgan jokes about memory loss, more with Bobby Moynihan

SNL -There is a new episode of “Saturday Night Live” coming this weekend, and it is almost certainly going to be one to deposit in the “must-watch” finale.

What we’ve got here first and foremost of interest is the fact alone that Tracy Morgan is hosting. The legendary comic and former cast member has recovered enough from his traumatic brain injury (suffered in an automobile accident that killed one of the passengers) to be able to be back on the stage, and he is rather funny in this promo with Bobby Moynihan. The two are especially great at joking about Tracy’s memory loss, including him suddenly starting to think that Bobby is actually Horatio Sanz.

Also, another reason for excitement is the mere hope of it all that Morgan could bring in some other big cameos to the show. His former “30 Rock” co-stars Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin have deep ties to the show, and many other former cast members from his era may also be stopping by. We imagine that at least one iconic Tracy character will be featured, with Brian Fellows topping the list of the one he is best known for.

This episode is also going to feature performances from Demi Lovato, who seems to be okay with the fact that, at least for now, most of the buzz is about the host. She’ll have a chance to get attention when she takes the stage to perform during the episode, potentially to higher ratings than usual.
