‘Madam Secretary’ season 2, episode 3 preview: First look at Tea Leoni, cast in ‘The Rusalka’

MadamSo where are we heading moving into the next episode of “Madam Secretary“? We thought that before we did anything else, we’d start off this particular preview by having a little bit of fun in terms of episode titles. The upcoming installment is named “The Rusalka,” and for those of you who want a translation, this is basically a water nymph or a mermaid from Slavic culture. This is in part a reference to the fact that for the next episode, we are going to be spending a great deal of time dealing with the relations between the United States in Russia.

In the event you have not seen the synopsis below yet, check it out:

“Elizabeth and President Dalton’s administration are met with hostility while trying to deal with the Russian government. Also, Dmitri (Chris Petrovski) is kidnapped and interrogated about being a Russian spy.”

This will not be the last episode of the season that deals to this extent with the government. Specifically, this is something that we have a feeling is going to be a recurring theme almost through. We’d suggest that you keep your eyes and ears peeled, since there will be way more news coming out about this over the course of the weeks ahead. It also ties into current events to a certain degree, given the fact that we have certainly heard time and time again about tense discussions between the U.S. and Russian governments, even so many years removed from the
