‘Criminal Minds’ season 11 spoilers: Thomas Gibson directs ‘The Night Watch’
Could a street artist be a serial killer? This is a question that “Criminal Minds” will be asking on the upcoming October 28 episode entitled “The Night Watch,” which seems to be one part murder mystery and another part NBC’s “Hannibal,” minus all of the food.
This episode is going to contain a variety of different elements of great intrigue, including a personal story for Aisha Tyler as Tara Lewis, and also another directorial effort from Thomas Gibson. One of the luxuries of this show having such a large cast is that you can get frequent turns from many of the actors in the director’s chair. As a matter of fact, Joe Mantegna is taking on the installment airing on CBS next week.
Take a look at the synopsis below for a few more specifics:
“When the BAU investigates incidents of bodies being incorporated into macabre graffiti art in Detroit, they suspect an elusive-yet-notorious street artist could be the UnSub. Also, Dr. Lewis struggles to balance her relationship with her fiancé and her work, on CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Oct. 28 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Series star Thomas Gibson directed the episode.”
The biggest fear that we of course have here is that we could be coming close to something that forces Tara away from the team, and we don’t want that. Yet, this was always meant to be a recurring role and not a permanent addition; otherwise, wouldn’t she be a series regular? Given that Tyler also has “The Talk,” “Whose Line Is It Anyway?,” and “Archer” on the schedule, doesn’t she have to find a little bit of time to sleep somewhere? It feels like she’d need it.
