‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12, episode 4 preview: Key Jessica Capshaw – Kevin McKidd stories in ‘Old Time Rock ‘n Roll’

We’ll start this “Grey’s Anatomy” article by at least sending some props in the direction of ABC. For one reason or another, the network has as of late been extremely hesitant to release details about episodes until after the last one aired. This is a strange routine, one that they have only done consistently with “Once Upon a Time.”

However, we are here today with some proof that this is not going to be some sort of lasting trend. Next week’s new episode is entitled “Old Time Rock ‘n Roll,” which is definitely a great bit of nostalgia for all those who love that song like we do. The synopsis below is going to make you feel a variety of different emotions, mostly since you’re talking about stories that could be heartwarming, devastating, and also awkwardly funny at the same time:

“Owen suggests the interns learn a vital lesson on how to break bad news to patients’ families, and Arizona’s 90-year-old patient reassures her that she’s destined to find love again. Meanwhile, the sisters completely forget about the dinner party they’re hosting for everyone.”

The Arizona story is probably for now the most important to the show in the long-form, if for no other reason than that we do have to wonder what her future holds romantically. Obviously, many fans want to see Jessica Capshaw’s character back with Callie, and there are probably some feelings still there. Yet, at the same time, those feelings have to be mutual in order for something to ever happen. We’re not sure if we are on the cusp of that.
