Here is one thing that we definitely know for sure about AMC: They are not afraid in the slightest of over-exposure. How else would you describe the fact that they have not only “The Walking Dead” and “Fear the Walking Dead,” but also a new webseries in “Flight 462” that is going to carry over into the second season?
The video below is basically the premiere of the multi-part show, which is going to be shown in increments during “The Walking Dead” starting with the premiere next week. The story is self-explanatory: You are going to see over the course of this time a flight that is traveling at the time of the zombie apocalypse, and there will be at least one person aboard who is infected. As you would expect, this will lead to all sorts of chaos, and a struggle for survival. One character aboard this flight will join “Fear the Walking Dead” during the second season.
After watching this first part, the top candidate has to be the kid, who is hoping to meet up with his mother after the flight. He is, after all, who receives the majority of the airtime here. Another candidate we suppose could be the man who asks the flight attendant about whether or not flights are being grounded after reading something about it on his phone.
We don’t imagine that these installments are going to blow us away when it comes to quality or production value; how can they when they are this short? Still, it’s an entertaining little diversion, and it will make commercial breaks more exciting.
