‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 9, episode 3 preview: Raj and Howard ‘kidnap’ Leonard and Sheldon

On Monday night’s new episode of “The Big Bang Theory,” it is celebration time! Specifically, this is going to be an opportunity to see what happens when a group of geeks try to throw a Bachelor party, starting with one of the most random traditions out there: A kidnapping.

In the video below, you can see Raj and Howard pay Leonard and Sheldon a visit, claiming that since Leonard never got a proper Bachelor party, this is the time for him to take part in what is a time-honored tradition.

Given that this is “The Big Bang Theory,” we imagine that there are going to be a few separate twists here and there … with one of them being that in order to make this trip happen, the guys actually do have to “kidnap” Sheldon (complete with a blindfold) while throwing him in the back of the fan. Promotional material out there suggests that the group is going to be heading down to Mexico, while the first-look photo above makes it very clear that this celebration is not going to happen quite like they imagined it would going into the road-trip.

While the boys are off having some fun, you can expect to see Amy get a little bit of an assist from the other ladies when it comes to her emotional recovery from her breakup with Sheldon. We know already that this is not going to be something that she recovers from overnight, but she will need some help to start to see the other side (at least for however long she is away from him).
