‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ preview: Even more Vicki Gunvalson – Brooks Ayers conflict

“The Real Housewives of Orange County” has so far developed a story about Brooks Ayers that is far more complicated than we ever thought it would be. He is at this point desperate to prove that he has in fact been battling cancer. Meanwhile, some others seem very invested in trying to prove that the opposite is true.

As the synopsis below indicates, there is going to be even more drama coming up about the state of Vicki Gunvalson’s relationship with Brooks Ayers, stemming mostly from a discussion that her daughter Briana has with Tamra Judge about all of it. The rumors about his cancer continue to swirl, and more and more of the women seem interested in confronting Vicki about it. There are insinuations about people being “duped” in the episode’s promo, and we have a particularly humorous moment in here where Vicki references “Satan” right around the time that we also have a story about Tamra getting baptized, which she is harboring some anxiety over. (She also compares it to getting married.)

Here’s that aforementioned synopsis:

“Vicki’s daughter Briana visits the OC and meets Tamra for lunch with some shocking new information about Brooks. Shannon’s rekindled relationship with Heather and Tamra allows her to confide in the ladies in a way she never thought possible. The ladies prep for Tamra’s baptism in some unconventional ways.”

You know that all of this is going to eventually erupt into some sort of crazy downward spiral; the question is whether that happens now, or in the upcoming reunion show.
