‘Faking It’ season 2 spoilers: More of the latest Amy / Karma scoop!
The second season of “Faking It” has contained a variety of fun twists, whether they include a “Breakfast Club” inspired episode or seeing Karma and Reagan trying to sabotage people they believe have wronged them.
While we have found ourselves laughing at various times throughout this whole process, there is still a more-than-fair question that remains: what about Amy and Karma themselves? Their friendship / prospective relationship is at the center of the series, and there have already been trailers out there that show Amy questioning whether or not she is falling back in love with her best friend. Therefore, we know that it is coming this season, but there may be some resistance to it at first from Amy’s point of view.
For more on this particular subject, just take a look at what executive producer Carter Covington had to say to Entertainment Weekly:
“Amy wants to get back together and be friends with Karma, but is it realistic that she won’t have some of those old feelings come back? We’re going to explore how much she doesn’t want them to come back, because she doesn’t want to go back to the place she was. That’ll come to play in the latter half of the season.”
Here is one other valuable question worth asking: Does Karma now share these same feelings? There were questions at the end of the first half of season 2 about this, but it really has not been revisited since. We do feel that there is something subconscious there if nothing else, but trying to get that to actually surface could be no easy task.
