‘Fear the Walking Dead’ episode 6 (finale) spoilers: What is Liza’s endgame?

We are starting to near the end of “Fear the Walking Dead” season 1, and with that of course come many questions about what characters want, and what they hope to do to ensure their survival.

In the sneak peek below, you at least get a sense that Liza has some specific plans for both Chris and Travis. Is she selfish? It certainly feels like that’s a fair assessment, but at the same time can you really blame her? This is already a dog-eat-dog world, and you have to figure out the best thing to do for yourself … but only to a certain extent. If you really want to keep yourself safe in the long-term, you are going to need help and people around you.

While this sneak peek is somewhat-compelling, we really do wish that the show had focused more instead on Salazar and what is going on over at the stadium. What in the world is his plan? If it somehow involves creating a diverse by letting the undead out into the world, that is insane … but it would probably make for crazy entertainment. The show does need some sort of super-iconic moment to really make a name for itself in the finale, and this could be it!

We’ll be back Sunday night for a full assessment of the finale; we’ve found this season at times to be moving at a little too slow of a pace given that we only have a six-episode order, but maybe we are starting to see the action pick up.
