‘The X Factor’ UK: Looking at Josh Daniel, Louisa Johnson, Simon Lynch, other contenders

X Factor -With the arrival of the infamous Six-Chair Challenge coming on “The X Factor” this weekend, we thought that it would be great to take a look at the entire field to make at least a few projections on where we felt many of the contenders stand. Today, we’re going to predict some of the likely singers advancing from the girls and the boys; tomorrow, we’re going to return with our take on the groups and the overs.

The girls (Rita Ora)

The lineup – Caitlyn Vanbeck, Charli Beard, Chloe Baker, Chloe Paige, Havva Rebke, Jasmine Leigh Morris, Karen Mav, Katie Coleman, Kelly Mai Webb, Keira Weathers, Lauren Murray, Louisa Johnson, Lucy Duffield, Monica Michael, Sharon Rose, Sophie Plumb.

Our Projection – Of this group, it feels to us like Louisa Johnson, Monica Michael, Chloe Paige, and Kiera Weathers are really the four locks to move forward. Maybe Lauren Murray and Katie Coleman fill out the group. Monica and Louisa have dominated the screen time as of late this season, so it feels to us almost assured that they will be two of the acts moving into the live shows after judges’ houses.

The boys (Nick Grimshaw)

The lineup – Ben Clarke, Brodie Kelly, Ché Chesterman, Danny Sharples, Jamie Eldridge, Jordan Luke Gage, Josh Daniel, Martin Harich, Mason Noise, Nathaneal Landskroner, Ollie Marland, Papasidero, Seann Miley Moore, Simon Lynch, Tom Bleasby, Tom Davies.

Our projection – This category has been all over the map. We almost want to get Papasidero in there for the entertainment, but the locks here are probably Che and Josh thanks to their body of work so far. We also feel pretty good about Seann Miley Moore and Simon Lynch. Mason Noise has gotten a ton of screen time for his personality, so he’s also a possibility. As for who the sixth person is, we’re not really feeling anyone has that big of an advantage.
